There are days throughout our lives, that we can always look back on and see them as pivot points in our lives, which in time have drastic influence upon who we are and which represent the fiber that makes up us as human beings.
This was one of those days…
During the evening of Thursday, May 12th, I met one of the most special people I have ever met – my niece, Georgia.
She was born on Wednesday, May 11th, at 10:06pm, and less than 24 hours later I was in the hospital room with my sister, her husband, and my wife, holding little Georgia in my arm as she slowly fell asleep. She is the first of the next generation of our family, and I could not BE more thrilled (there’s a Chandler reference, for those of you who are of a generation old enough to be familiar with the TV Show ‘FRIENDS’).
With two middle names, which are each a namesake to our two grandmother’s, she is a gem which I look forward to enjoying every moment I get with her.
