Oh, the waiting…I’m sure it’s the waiting that is the worst, but in so many ways it is amazing in the thought process you go through as individuals and as a couple, waiting for this little miracle to join, and in so many ways become, your world.
I spent the day out at the farm yesterday, finishing work on the old 1950 McCormick Farmall Cub, the tractor which my Dad’s Father purchased back in 1953, and which has stayed in the family to this day. Over the past number of years, a lot of time, money, and effort has gone into restoring the tractor to much of it’s former glory, and for the first time in probably 15 years I heard it run and got to drive it testing the work that has been done, which was amazing.
We have a family get together coming up at the beginning of September, so I’m not sharing any photos other than the one at the beginning of this post – the ‘big reveal’ is coming soon.
