For the last couple years, I have been trying to get my wife to agree to a purchase of an air conditioning unit for our house, so that we can make use of it to curb the hot summer days when they hit.
Each year, she has been completely against doing so.
Until recently…
A couple weeks ago, on a hot night when she wasn’t able to sleep, she caved – and I ordered an air conditioner the very next day.
We’ll see how this works long term, but I am thrilled with having this in our place.
